Raise your hand if you’ve ever dreamt about replacing a regular bathtub in your home with a more luxurious Jacuzzi tub!

If you’re like most homeowners, that thought is likely to have popped up into your mind more than once.

Unfortunately, if you’re under the impression that fitting or affording a Jacuzzi tub is out of the question, then you’ve probably never done anything about upgrading your bathtub.

We’re here to tell you that, yes, it’s possible! And, yes, it’s worth the effort!

Recently, the Baden Contracting team worked with a client located in Gainesville, VA to help replace their standard bathtub with a Jacuzzi tub.

Wanting the new tub installed in their regular hall bathroom, there was a bit of planning required to make sure the project could be completed without any major hiccups.

The old bathtub, which was a standard 60-inch size, was removed so that it could be replaced by the wider jetted tub. Luckily, the tub was only 4 inches wider, making the switch fairly easy.

But, because the Jacuzzi-style tub required new wiring, we brought in a team of expert electricians to help us fish a wire down, creating a dedicated line for the new tub’s pumps and motor.

Of course, if you’re going to upgrade your bathtub, why not do a little bit of refreshing for the entire room?

This Gainesville client asked us to help make their new jetted tub feel at home by removing the builder-grade tile and installing long subway tile with individual glass.

The overall effect was dramatic and a completely new look for their hallway bathroom! While we were at work, we also created a beautiful tile accent wall and niche, which is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

To top it all off, we added an in-style brushed nickel faucet, giving the bathroom the finishing touch it needed to really wow.
