Baden Contracting, like so many other successful businesses out there, was born from the personal challenges my family faced while working with contractors.
As a self-employed contractor and D.C. firefighter for over two decades, my father’s passion for what he did was contagious. This was apparent to his clients, as well as to his co-workers, including me.
I had the privilege of working with my father in his construction business and, as I did, I started to notice the many challenges people faced when using contractors.
Hearing the stories from our clients about past experiences with contractors helped me recognize that there really was a better way of doing things – and we were doing it.
Wanting to change the industry by providing the highest level of service possible, I became focused on all of the details of our projects – from the first plank of wood down to the last nail hammered.
While my favorite part is seeing the faces of owners when they see the finished product, completely in awe of the transformation, what I really live for is knowing that they had the best experience possible because of the excellent service and communication we provided them.
Today, I continue to work on improving service by implementing systems that make working with contractors (dare I say it?) enjoyable.
Sure, we’ve had our challenges, but we see each one as an opportunity to grow and learn, helping us to avoid making the same mistakes in the future.
And, thankfully, our dedication to customer service and experience has been working!
Not only has Baden Contracting won awards in the Northern VA region over the years, we also receive rewards every day when we get to work with another happy client, thrilled with how their project is coming along.
That’s a feeling unlike any other. It’s made even more special thinking of all the personal moments our clients will share with each other, as well as their loved ones, in spaces we’ve personally improved.
Life really is about the journey. We are blessed by all of the people who allow us into their own journeys to improve their homes.
